We are the World 2 Premieres Tonight

It's true, We are the World 2, the re-make of the original, written by Michael Jackson and Lionel Richie twenty-five years ago will premiere tonight during the opening ceremonies of the twenty-first Winter Olympics in Vancouver, Canada.

Lionel Richie confirmed to Ryan Seacrest, on his nationally-syndicated radio show this morning, that Michael Jackson's voice will be included in the same part of the song as it was in the original version, only this time it will be a duet with his sister, Janet.

Inside is a behind-the-scenes preview of the recording which took place last Monday at the Henson Studios in Hollywood. Featured on this preview are Pink, Justin Bieber, Josh Groban, Mary J. Blige, and Akon recording their individual pieces - as well as part of the group recording.

Also after the jump, we've included some recently released pictures by World25.org, the project's official webpage.
