Here we are fourth of July weekend, and fireworks have arrived at the box office. Even though it's only Friday, we think it's pretty safe to call it for Eclipse after a $30 million midnight opening. Below, we have a preview of Eclipse, if by chance you haven't seen it yet, as well as the holiday weekend's other new release.
The Twilight Saga: Eclipse
Starring: Taylor Lautner, Kristen Stewart, Rob Pattinson
The Last Airbender
Starring: Noah Ringer, Dev Patel, Jackson Rathbone, Nicola Peltz
Our Take: One word to sum up this weekend: Eclipse. As for, Airbender, we're thinking it will have an okay weekend, not great but far from a bust. We think it will probably be good for third place, but we're guessing Toy Story 3 which is the two-week box office champ will settle into second place.
