It's time for our first edition of New @ the Box Office, where every Friday we will preview the hottest new movies hitting theaters for the upcoming weekend.
First up today is Disney's A Christmas Carol. Yes, it's the same old story - but this time it's animated, and in 3-D. A Christmas Carol stars Jim Carrey as the voice of Ebenezer Scrooge.
Also hitting the general public this weekend is The Men Who Stare at Goats, which stars Ewan McGregor, Kevin Spacey, Jeff Bridges, and George Clooney (who also co-directs.)The film is an adaptation of the Jon Ronson book by the same title, on the physchi of Iraq War soldiers.
The Box, starring Cameron Diaz and James Marsden is released as well - and yes, the film is all about a box the on-screen couple, mentioned above receives.
And finally new this week, The Fourth Kind, starring Mila Jovovich, - and this one sounds like something: Jovovich plays an Alaskan psychologist who videotapes her meetings with patients, and out of it comes some hard core evidence of alien abduction. And - supposedly it's true. I just report it folks.
