Album Release Tuesday

Each Tuesday here on the EntUpdates blog, we will breakdown some of the new albums for the week that we are most excited about.  

1. Carrie Underwood - Play On .
Carrie, up until last year when Taylor Swift really emerged with Fearless, was the one country superstar who could truly compete with the big popsters on Top 40 radio. Carrie tried to take that distinction back with this album - but in our opinion she did not get that done. Cowboy Casanova, the album's first single we aren't crazy about either and it has yet to take off.

2. Weezer - Raditude.
How do you not enjoy this band? They are always coming up with something entirely different, but each time they do - it works. And once again, Weezer delivered, with some of our favorites being The Girl Got Hot, Put Me Back Together, and Tripping Down the Freeway.

3. Foo Fighters - Greatest Hits.
While our first two albums of the week are full of new material, our final album is a compilation of the hottest rock songs the foo fighters have written and performed over the last fifteen or so years. If you are looking to rock out this week - definitely take a look at this collection, it's a set of songs not to be missed.

Also new this week: Glee The Music, Vol.1 from the cast of the Fox show Glee, Let it Beat from Shwayze, Say Anything's self-titled album, and an EP from Jack's Mannequin titled The Dear Jack..
