It's true - JB and his mother were threatened with arrest after a meet-and-greet with fans at Long Island's Roosevelt Field Mall was canceled this afternoon. Authorities say, mall security was understaffed for the amount of fans who showed up, estimates are that around 10,000 were at the mall to meet Justin, mostly tween and teen girls and their parents.
Justin notified fans of the cancellation via twitter saying, " they are not allowing me to come into the mall. if you dont leave I and my fans will be arrested as the police just told us." He went on to say, "the event at roosevelt mall is cancelled. please go home. the police have already arrested one person from my camp. I dont want anyone hurt."
Unfortunately, at least one young girl was rushed to the hospital on a stretcher - but she is expected to be just fine. As for the person in Justin's camp who was arrested, TMZ is reporting that individual was James Roppo, a 44-year-old, who serves as VP of sales for Justin's label, Def Jam Records.
Here's a brief scene of the mall today.
